Tactic - UI UX - Clue Screen
Brief
Create a UI mock-up for a Clue Screen in the menu system of a Victorian Murder Mystery Game. The screen should have a logical, clean layout with visually appealing fonts, colors, and artwork & should be designed such that it could be navigated using either controller or mouse/keyboard, but for any button callouts, please use PlayStation button imagery and terminology.
Screen Description
Players have a set of clues about suspects in the murder mystery. These clues are typically related to physical appearance such as hair color, height, tattoos, etc. Clues can be certain or uncertain, where certain clues represent physical evidence found at the crime scene and known to be associated with the killer, and uncertain clues represent circumstantial or eye-witness accounts that may be false or inaccurate.
On the screen, players should be able to:
Navigate an overview of all clues.
See details about a selected clue.
Differentiate certain and uncertain clues.
Visualize how clues and suspects are connected to one another.
Data
A blonde hair and torn t-shirt were found in the alley, and are believed to be associated with suspect Jane. An eye-witness saw suspect Jane and suspect Henry near the store, and a knife previously owned by suspect Henry was found at the store.
2 suspects: Jane and Henry.
2 locations: the Alley and the Store.
3 certain clues: hair, t-shirt, knife.
1 uncertain clue, the eye-witness account of both suspects.
