The White Snake bottle and package has been designed for a new range of Japanese, green tea infused sake to be released in Australia. White Snake is to be positioned alongside high-end alcohol brands and manufacturers are targeting the somewhat niche market of 25–45 year old professional women. To attract this demographic and build loyalty to the brand, the client has requested the packaging convey the exotic origins of White Snake and the mystery and tradition of the Japanese culture. The client has also stipulated the design should epitomise ‘the elegant Japanese lady; well groomed, self aware and highly articulate’. Brand recall

However as she neared the tree Yuki-Onna discovered Kono-Hana was nowhere to be found. Yuki-Onna’s cold breath covered the tree’s petals in a deadly frost and coated its branches in snow once more.
And so it was that the goddesses of winter and spring would never meet. And snow flakes and flowers never stand together on the branches of the cherry blossom tree...
