ITV Rebrand Idents, Set Dressing and Prop-making
Here is a small section of the 105 idents we dressed for the rebrand of ITV main channel.
To be run for 5 years the campaign features the new ITV identity, a 'colour-picking' logo which adapts to the tone and colour scheme of the footage behind it.

Prop classic cocktails made from olive oil, tea and maple syrup to give correct density and movement to the ‘drinks’ as they were carried up the stairs as the main focus of this ident. This fitted the backdrop well after we had restored the former splendor of this rundown hotel, hiding all traces of the glaring 80’s tungsten lighting and yellowing plastic light fittings, obtrusive safety signage and worn dated furniture, returning its original elegance.

The director wanted a replica of this snail-racing table (pictured right)for the ‘Snail Racing Championships’ ident which I made complete with custom painted snails.

MONSTER IN THE CAR WASH
I was asked to design and make a small ‘monster’ to be the colour
focus in an ITV ident. The model was intended to hang from a rear-view mirror in a car and
was to be filmed from the interior out, bobbing around, as if frightened of the whirling
brushes of the car wash in the back of frame. I designed the model to stand out from the
backdrop, using bright simple accent colours and gave it movement with articulated limbs.
