Política Accesible is a political news outlet from San Juan, Puerto Rico. After gaining local recognition, they decided to formalize their brand to cater to their audiences needs, seeking a youthful look while maintaining a trustful image.

"Política accesible" means accesible politics, their goal is to make local politics understandable to anyone.

From the beginning, the brand needed a strong visual signifier, as they are planning to develop merchandise in the future. The star is a symbol of both Puerto Rico itself and politics in general, the colors distinguish it from political parties. The open palm suggests a helping hand.

I decided on Museo, a serif font that may be playful, but still has a journalistic look. The Muli font provides a modern balance and is easier to read.  It was important for the client to keep a similar color palette, so I updated it to look more vibrant and have richer color selection.
