Ulysses Press commissioned this cover for Lou Florez's book “The Modern Art of Brujería”. Based on the traditions the author follows, I illustrated an altar and various herbs such as common yarrow, Mexican mint marigold, rue, basil, rosemary and lemongrass. It was a pleasure to create this gouache style illustration for them!
