• SUMMER MEMOIRES •
As the summer has ended and we are moving further to cooler times, I wanted to make a project revolving around memories from a distant summer. I aimed to capture that feeling when you're doing something fun with your friends while the sun is going down and time doesn't seem to exist.
All of these artworks are rendered in 3D software. Most of the 3D work was done in Cinema4D, using Octane as the render engine. Some occasional modeling was done with Fusion360, but most of it could be done directly in Cinema4D. A big part in this are the post effects done in Photoshop. At the bottom of the project you can see some before and after images from my Photoshop progress. I usually take photographs of nice sunsets with my phone and use those to create my backgrounds. I also enjoy playing with the colors, that's why there's such a big change between the render and the final piece.
