• SOLITUDE •
For a few years I've been dreaming about this little white house in the middle of a grass field. I always go on a journey to find that one house in the middle of nowhere. When I'm inside the house, it gives me a feeling of being home inside my own mind. Therefore, I wanted to dedicate a project to working with these 'lonely houses'. I want to carry the idea that being alone isn't always a bad thing. One day I wish to go to a place like this and live in the middle of nowhere for a little while. Many of these pieces were inspired by awesome places in Norway, which I plan on visiting one day.
All of these artworks were created in 3d. For modeling and building the houses I used Autodesk Fusion360. Making the landscapes, lighting the scene, texturing and rendering was done with Cinema4D and Octane Render. For many of these projects I used assets and textures from the great megascans library by Quixel. Stitching the images together and getting the colors I wanted was done with Adobe Photoshop. My focus was on keeping the models simple and trying to explore many locations over the period of making this project.
