Mose & de Rode Metrorat is a short story written by Linde Vanmieghem. I got the assignment to illustrate a shortstory and create a book that would be perfect for my favorite reading context. I like reading in bed just before I go to bed. Therefor I decided to make a bedbook. The book is made from fabric with embroidered illustrations. Each chapter is a little book that hooks loose from the other chapters, that way you can select a chapter and stop reading when you've finished it. The book is made from fabric and is padded, so if you fall a sleep while reading you won't get marks from the hard edges of paper on you face. Also: if you drool in you sleep you could easily put the book in the washing machine. The book comes with a little pillowcase to store the book in.
