Becon is a new service that aims to improve your Wi-Fi connection experience, Becon helps you to skips the annoying moment while connecting to the area Wi-Fi. Thanks to the NFC technic, with Becon device, you are able to surf the internet with only a simple tap on the Becon.

The scenario of using Becon service is unlimited and wild. it creates for every public space: co-working space, office, coffee shop, library or Airbnb, etc. The service provides an intuitive and contactless way to share Wi-Fi.

BRAND IDENTITY

The vision of Becon is to create an instant and creative user experience. Becon service attempts to spread the easiest and intuitive way of connecting WiFi, it creates a new impression to every user. The brand image brings you the feeling of dynamic and friendly. On the other hand, also presents an impression of trust and professionalism.

The inspiration for the logo is from the WiFi signal. This shape is the most direct but distinguishes shape to presenting WiFi connection. The main logo using capital bold font type merge with a simple symbol, create an instant and memorable logotype. The design language attempt to remain simple and minimal.

PACKAGING DESIGN

The challenge of this packaging design is to create an essential pack with a pleasure unbox experience. By creating a clear and friendly manual user can immediately understand all the functions and services provided by Becon.

The packaging concept also respects the company's core value that needs to be environmentally friendly and sustainable. Therefore, we chose the complete recyclable corrugated cardboard box, with recycled paper for all the printing materials included.

UNBOXING

The whole packaging set provides the completed information that user needs, such as manual cards, instruction layout, thanks cards. The package's related printed material helps the store set up the device easily and promote Becon service.

For the B2B solutions, Becon also provides the window stickers for easy identification where the place with Becon instant WiFi connect service, such as coffee shops, libraries, offices, and AirBnB, etc.

WEB DESIGN

The website is another important touch point of Becon service. This website needs to host all the essential knowledge of set-up devices, technical specifications, and member profile management, etc.

In the early stage of this startup business, the website more like a landing page that we focus on the clear way of driving the target audience from knowing the product, its features until pre-order their first product.

MOBILE VERSION

Becon website also considered a completed user needs either in desktop and also mobile version. The design well responds to different types of screen, make sure the content and visual element keep consistent in either situation.

WEB APP

In order to create a fluent and clear user experience, we designed a web app that makes the WiFi connection process seamless between the physical device and the digital platform.

While tapping the smartphone on the Becon physical device, leads you directly from the beginning till your first successful setup. The Web app can be also customized for different business purposes and solutions.

ICON SET

We created an icon set that can easily apply to both printing materials or digital use. The style of this icon family is consistent and visually represents the general look of Becon brand identity.
