Interprétation du célèbre « alphabet plastique » de Victor Vasarely dans le cadre d’un hommage à l’artiste. Dans son œuvre originale datant de 1965, le maître de la forme a pensé un alphabet modulable à l’infini. Mais une langue s’enrichit, évolue, ou tout simplement, se transforme avec le temps. Le studio a donc essayé d’imaginer la forme qu’aurait peut-être plus tard, cet alphabet plastique s’il subissait lui aussi, les mouvements du temps.
Peut-être aurions-nous du mal à contenir les formes dans leurs espaces délimités? Peut-être auraient-elles du mal à garder leur apparence d’origine? La fameuse “unité plastique” se verrait-elle bousculée voir démultipliée?

As a tribute to the artist Victor Vasarely, this is an interpretation of his famous “alphabet”.
In the original work (1965), the artist created an infinite modular alphabet, thanks to a system of combinations of forms. A universal language was born. But a language evolves, or simply changes over time. The studio tried to imagine the shape this plastic alphabet might have later on after the effects of time.

Perhaps we would have trouble containing the forms in their delimited spaces? Maybe they would have trouble keeping their original appearance? Would the famous “plastic unit” be transformed or even multiplied?
