IPSEITY: RANGE DESIGN

When developing a positive health routine, it’s worth looking to other cultures for inspiration. Social values, aesthetics, and culture are deeply entangled in the Japanese language. In recent years, the concepts from Japanese philosophy seem to have been blowing up. Concepts that can change one’s attitude towards life, and that can be applied in everyday life.  The design is inspired from Japan aesthetics which talks about Minimalistic, Organic and Botanical spaces. The simplicity of Japanese & Scandinavian design inspires simple, refined, elegant & tactility along with handcrafted quality. It keeps emphasis on use of natural materials. It will focus on both design & its performance.
The notion is taken from one of the Japanese philosophy, “Oubaitori" which symbolizes, Bloom in own time and in own individual ways. It basically uses the characters from four trees that flower in the spring time: Cherry, Plum, and Peach & Apricot. It is the art of never comparing self to others. The term includes the kanji characters from the four iconic trees that all flower in the spring season: the cherry, plum, peach and apricot. They bloom alongside each other, but all in such different manners. The concept of Oubaitori is also about taking the time to assess unique character traits and capabilities of each individual. Comparing own endeavors and skills to someone else is pointless. Because finding own value is all about spending time on own unique story, while still understanding connection to others.
Fascinated by the nature, which is filled with aesthetic delight that stimulate the senses, the design focuses on the deep awe of life. It shows a deep respect for interiors, each with their own scenery, each telling its own unique story. This is the creative process to bring life to the world around people by translating interiors into appealing scent composition along with the touch of nature which will have positive effects on mood, perception & the space itself. Both, the plants & the diffusers are static as well as inviting. The diffuser can be doubled as a pot for a houseplant to get the benefit of nature along with the aromatherapy in one, providing quality air, calming fragrance and rejuvenating environment. This is like treating interiors with visual aesthetic as well as air aesthetics.
THANK YOU!
