Promotional poster

Løvfall is a movie about an elderly, tired man who decides to end his life on his own terms. He gets interrupted when Daniel, his curious grandchild, decides to make a surprise visit.

The client wanted a promotional poster which captured the mood of the movie. Together we decided on a direction which relied on expressive handmade calligraphy. I got to use an artwork by the man the movie is based on, and decided to give it some space by being careful when scaling and placing the letters.
