Silver Siren Speaker

——
Where form follows imagery.

Silver Siren Speaker is a handmade speaker project inspired by Siren the mythology.

In Greek mythology, the Sirens were dangerous creatures, who lured nearby sailors with their enchanting music and singing voices to shipwreck on the rocky coast of their island.

Sirens were believed to look like a combination of women and birds in various different forms, with or without wings, playing a variety of musical instruments, especially harps. Also, they were sometimes depicted as beautiful women, whose bodies, not only their voices, are seductive.

Enchanting but dangerous, isn’t Siren an excellent imagery of a beautiful, mysterious speaker with a fluid, organic form?
As an add-on, there could be an alternative sound filter installed on the front of the speaker, which was inspired by underwater sound.
Thanks.
