Project commissioned by the Deutsches Kulturzentrum in Cluj a century ago in 2019. A bunch of us local illustrator folk were meant to come up with short comics, showcasing a couple of German loan-words. We suggested tiny flipbooks instead, and they went along with our scheme. The theme-words I chose for my flipbook were "Poodle" and "Dachshund". It was a nice experience working with frame-by-frame animation and I enjoy the final result. The poodle is actually based on the horse trot from Richard Williams' Animator's Survival Kit, while the Dachshund was a bit more experimental.
