White the colur that depicts purity, a peaceful colour that evokes calmness. An ever popular colour with clients for sympathy designs as pictured below. One of my favourite combinations of green and white in the first construction. Both involving Silver birch which has a fantastic texture and wonderous natural pattern that enthrals and excites me. . .
The 18" wreath ring imaged above takes inspiration from the forest floor. Covered in lush emerald green Bun moss and circular slices of Silver birch, punctuated randomly with seasonal white flowers. Lengths of Silver birch branches are pinned in place crossing the diameter of the wreath as if fallen so. Natural and random positioning was used for this piece to project a stillness.

This spring flower wreath ring is not only densely packed with blooms but has a heavenly scent. The use of scented flowers in this design brings not only a cascade of floral texture but a second level to the piece. Not only is it a feast for the eyes but has the ability to bring forth memories through the sense of smell. Also included in this piece is Silver birch which compliments the dark eye of the Anemones with its black textural patterning.
