I worked on the development and design of Colorlines.com's mobile site in 2012 - a large project and huge learning experience, working with a team to collaborate on a user experience that would be satisfying and 'app-like' for Colorlines readers on mobile devices. The New Media Director of ARC at the time, Noel Rabinowitz, was a great mentor as I dove headfirst into jQuery Mobile, the platform (which I highly recommend) we built the site on, adding CSS and JavaScript to extend and shape it to our needs. I can't take the credit for all this project, but the mockups below are mine and much of the working code on the site.
