ISTD 2020 – Nature's Fibonacci
I bet maths isn’t the first thing you think about when you’re tromping around outdoors. However, patterns in nature are everywhere, and it’s time you noticed the numbers! The aesthetic appeal of the different geometric shapes that are in so many organisms will blow your mind. From proportional perfection to spirals and whorls, nature has a way of bringing out our inner mathematician, even if we aren’t aware of it.
This project consisted of a poster and book following the 2020 ISTD brief about numbers. It highlights the hidden secret of nature's Fibonacci sequence, with the aim for us to notice it.
