An interactive workbook zine created for the Tally Zine Fest (Tallahassee Zine Exchange) August 2020.
Plantae was made during COVID quarantine. I created visuals inspired by the plants that comfort me and remind me of home, between a mix of digital illustrations and interactive connect-the-dots typography.
The title Plantae, derived from the scientific nomenclature for the Kingdom Plantae, emphasizes the ability of each person to have their own Kingdom of plant life that is specific to their lens. Through intermingling the interactive elements, I hope to engage the viewer and ultimately leave space for them to reflect on their own Kingdom of plants.
