Logo and packaging design for an ultra premium Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey aged with oak staves. It's called Trail's End, produced by Hood River Distillers, Oregon. Design features blind embossed glass and printing on a wood veneer label. Lynn Spooner had the pleasure of being the Art Director and Designer on this project and created the logo design, the brand identity, and packaging design.
Hood River Distillers, Inc. is the largest and oldest importer, producer, bottler and marketer of spirits in the Pacific Northwest. They use “The Code of the West” as its model for doing business. These ten principles play an integral part in the overall success of the company and its employees. When they came to us through a partnership with Smartfish Group with the prospect of bottling that “code” in the form of a bourbon whiskey, we jumped at the change.
The result was Trail’s End.
This project was completed while employed at Jackrabbit Design and through a partnership with Smartfish Group.
