Образ водонапорной башни жилого посёлка УЗТМ (Белой башни) — классический пример объединения функции, конструкции и формы. Этот принцип лёг в основу архитектурной концепции мотосалона «Bike House – Север». Белая башня — объект культурного наследия федерального значения и памятник конструктивизма. Небольшое по объёму здание мотосалона поддерживает масштаб архитектурных членений памятника, но не пытается создать с ним ансамбль. Самостоятельное образное решение — это переосмысление принципов конструктивизма. Такой подход позволяет отдать дань уважения памятнику и в то же время сохранить его гордое одиночество.
The image of the Uralmash water tower is a classic example of a function+design+form combination. This principle has laid the foundation for the architectural concept of “Bike House-North” motorbike showroom. The White Tower in Yekaterinburg is a cultural heritage site of federal significance and a constructivist monument. The miniature facility of the showroom supports the pattern of the monument segments but does not aspire to become one with it. The building’s architectural image is an reinterpretation of constructivist principles. This approach pays tribute to the monument and pre-serves its solitude.
