Corona vs Cycles
I recently wanted to practice photorealism with something simple. I have found a beautiful still life photo taken by Roberta Sorge that I thought will be a perfect subject to work on. I did all the modelling and scene setup in Blender. However, I also wanted to finally try out Corona Renderer with its full potential so I used 3dsMax to port the Blender scene into Corona. It turned out easier than I expected and the results were just as good as I anticipated. But that might be just my personal taste. You can see how these two compare below.
