After watching "Chasing Coral" (2017) on Netflix, I began drawing a 360 sketch of a dive spot at Sunabe in Okinawa where I first learnt scuba diving with Andrea from Aloha Okinawa Divers. 

After starting on it, I decided to challenge myself and do a 360 illustration of some of the diving spots in Okinawa instead. I referred to the images of the daily dives from my dive instructor's instagram, photographs online and even panoramas by Google. Some of the dive spots in the 360 illustration include the USS Emmons, Yonaguni Island and Sunabe.

These environments are also experience coral bleaching. I wonder how would it be in a few years time. The process has also made me more interested in the local coral reefs around Singapore.

It was mid-June then, travel restrictions were still in place and there doesn't seem to be an end to the pandemic.
