    Golf is a strange game. It’s the only game where one can play poorly for an entire afternoon, only to have all of their anger and wind-thrown curses erased by a chip-in birdie on 17. It’s a game that has been placed on a pedestal, philosophized and deified to a level far beyond that of blades and balls. To many, golf is life, and while there are varying ways to approach either, the most exciting, the most exhilarating way to approach both, is to let it fly — to grip it and rip it. It’s an explosive mixture, equal parts confidence and crazy. To grip it is to take control. To rip it is to relinquish it. ••• Using a decade’s old nine-iron and gold ink, we created the gold splatter effect on French 100% cotton paper by dipping the iron into the ink and mimicking a golfer’s swing. The organic gold splatters capture the energy and movement of the athleticism and poetry within golf, and the hand-cut type conveys the precision and focus within a golfer. Read Less
