TalkMusically Focus Group

After the brand design, brand guidelines and online holding page were completed, TalkMusically tasked us with phase 2 of the project, to drum up interest in the upcoming prduct and to create a site that would sign up early adopters of the application in the form of a focus group, FocusMusically!
The holding site was adapted to ask 3 simple questions: are you a music lover?; a music creative?; or do you simply want to get in contact as a potential investor?
Music Lovers could sign up to become a beta tester of the app and a focus group member
Music Creatives were able to register an early interest in becoming an independant artist in the TalkMusically community which, will later on form the music catalogue of the TalkMusically main site, allowing users to share local acts, as well as main stream artists.
Once we had the desired amount users sign up to be a part of the focus group, we sent out an email campaign inviting them to the focus group website: https://www.focusmusically.com/
 
We explained what the user would need to complete the focus group and even gave them 6 tracks to download for free, just in case they didn't have any music on their phone.
Once they chose to begin the app installation, we guided them through 5 simple steps: 1) Download & install the App; 2) Sign up using the app; 3) Upload music from your phone; 4) Make a call to a friend or one of the friendly TalkMusically team; then once they were satisfied and had played around with the app some more, we asked them to continue on and fill out a questionnaire.
