My role: Concept development, research on new technologies and futurism, idea development, strategy

Project Description: In 2033 the city center of Manchester will be congested and people will have to deal with heavy traffic jams. How can we make people shift from private to public transport in the next 20 years and prevent this terrible forecast to happen?It was also asked to try to understand how current technology would impact our future in 20-50 years and predict how commute would look like by that time.

Observation:
People’s time is highly value, and in the future is going to be more. Because of that people want accurate information so they can travel more efficient.

Solution:
The company needs to be more aligned with users lifestyles and expectations, that is why we created Brenda: a software that will connect commuters and the public transport service. It will exchange information between users in order to make the time more productive and the trip more entertaining. Brenda will be provide people up-to-date information about the traffic and different kinds of content inside the transport based on your profile and geolocation.
