Sweet+/-Bitter
In life there are situations that provide you sweet and bitter flavors. We can be filled with the sweet flavor of pursuing our dreams. We can also flavor the bitterness of pursuing it during unstable and uncertain times. This project is about tasting two opposite flavors under a specific event or circumstance and how this complementary coexistence allows you to recognize its opposite. The bitter bite makes happiness sweeter.
Sweet and bitter edibles were used to sculpturally create a composition between opposites. The background lighting contributes to the coexistence of light with shadow on a gray background representative of sadness and the feeling of turbulence in the face of uncertainty.
