Current Obsession's GEM Z talent accelerator programme - Identity and visuals, 2020
For Current Obsession’s new Talent Accelerator programme, GEM Z, I was asked to develop the identity and visual communication. This ranged from designing the logo, 
to the colour scheme, and conceptual themes. 
The programme is set up for young creatives, so I wanted to create something contemporary, dynamic, playful and colourful.
The videos show different subjects, digital interpretations of often used materials in jewelry (opals, crystals, glass, etc.). The animations bring these textures and materials to life by warping and distorting them, creating new shapes and movement for otherwise static materials. It was important to showcase the platform as something fluid, as its participants are desired to be multidisciplinary.
Since the colour identity of Current Obsession is quite pale and pastel, I chose to make it more bold for this platform, mostly RGB, reflecting themes of bravery, boldness and strength.
