3D MODEL OF GRENOBLE ALPS
3D model of the Alps surrounding Grenoble.
Starting from a detailed map, a process of filtering (one line every 250 m), simplification and smoothening of the contour lines, rivers and lakes was performed using QGIS. These layers were then exported to Google SketchUp, where a cleaning process was performed to delete the smallest details, and the 3D model was built. Photoshop was only used to add labels in some of the images.
