Student Activity Center, University of Texas @ Austin, Austin, Texas
The result of an extensive collaboration between students and the design team ; students funded and directly influenced the outcome of this facility housing the student activity center, and home for UT’s Archaeology and Anthropology departments. Furnished spaces include student commons, ballroom, theater, meeting rooms, dining areas, executive and seminar conference rooms, classrooms and labs, as well as offices for student organizations, building administration, faculty and staff. Each group was able to express their unique identity while maintaining design continuity throughout the building
