Sheen Falls Lodge is a 5-star hotel in Co. Kerry. As part of a new brand positioning direction, the resort needed to reflect its repositioning as a 5-star lodge resort. A new logo identity was developed to emphasise the distinctiveness of the location and reflect the lodge’s unique natural environment. The logo design is a minimal depiction of the falls by the lodge, reinforcing the sound of the babbling water and the relaxation afforded by the location. The illustrative icon can also be used in isolation to signify Sheen Falls Lodge in situations where the full logo iteration might look too cumbersome. The project also involved developing a set of guidelines including typographic choices, a colour scheme as well as designs for The Falls Restaurant and Easanna spa & wellness centre, both of which reside on the resort.
