FrauAngelico, Arduino based drum machine

Standuino is an electronics collective from the Czech Republic who design innovative, arduino-based musical instruments. One such instrument is the FrauAngelico, a flexible, bit crushery, glitched-up drum machine and sequencer. Standuino were kind enough to send me one to build and play with, which I've documented here.

Step 1: coffee.

This is Nicole from Vuvuvultures, who ended up with the Standuino MicroGranny kit. A very versatile granular sampler.
Step 2: Do we have all the bits? Most of these kind of kits will always have exactly as many components as you need to build the device successfully, so losing or breaking one isn't an option.
Step 3: grouping components. Standuino throw some random LED sizes and shapes into the kit, it makes the whole thing feel a bit more unique.
Step 4: Instructions. The English was not so good, but ultimately clear and to the point. I really loved the idea of the drum machine having time consciousness.
Step 5: populating the board. It's just down to soldering the right things in the right place.
The finished FRAUangelico as part of my live rig.
