The Art of Doug Boehm: A Virtual Musikfest Exhibition

The Art of Doug Boehm
A Virtual Musikfest Exhibition
"Storytelling has always been part of my work but I also enjoy the natural phenomena of the material being applied to the surface. I like to work on several pieces in unison jumping one to another. I have an interest in getting lost in the process and finding a space to disconnect from the world for a while. It forces me to live in the moment and make decisions free of scrutiny or discernment. There are always moments of chaos and uncertainty in the process but it always settles with a greater sense of clarity. While viewing my work take an opportunity to go on your own journey into the multiple layers and rich textural surface of each piece."
