Oregon’s Willamette Valley is known for its vineyards and wineries. Three of the state's most famous are:

1. Elk Cove Vineyards. Established by Pat and Joe Campbell in 1974, this vineyard harvests several varieties of grapes, including pinot blanc and pinot noir. The winery offers guests wine tastings and an opportunity to enjoy a picnic area with a view of the expansive grounds.

2. Lingua Franca. Founded in 2012 by Larry Stone and David Honig, this winery offers group wine tastings three times each day. Guests are required to make an appointment to visit this vineyard’s upscale tent-style tasting area.

3. Noble Estate Vineyard & Winery. Located in the town of Newport, this vineyard produces a diverse range of wines, including sauvignon blanc, muscat, and Malbec. The winery is open seven days a week and offers dockside seating for guests while they taste the wines.
