DUBROVNIK project
This book has been a challenge. First, because we have done it in 4 days. We are talking about editing digital offset, printed on an HP Indigo that has perfectly solved the balance of pages in black, intense black and perfectly contrasted with color printing that has little to envy the 'conventional’ offset. But the main problem was the binding. The order was 15 units and hardcover binding with an unconventional format: 28 x 41 cm.
Printed on three different papers: Gprint of 135g (coating volume), Maine of 150g (triple coated glossy coating) and Cyclus 130g offset. Blank pages in popset black 190g. Binding in bigris hardcover and clean edges, cloth lining on the spine and ribbon marker.
Result: 4 days and 15 books to present an ambitious project, an issue with finishes comparable to ‘conventional’ offset ones.
