Adam the client kicked off the meeting by announcing 'if we don't win an award you're all fired.'

He paused and waited for our jaws to drop.

'Sorry I was just joking,' he said smiling. 'Still, it'd be nice to win one.'

 

He gets away with teasing us. He's friendly and smiles a lot. His good-humour is a great motivator.

 

The project was challenging but always fun. Our hard work paid off. We won an award for best benefits communication. Our jobs were saved for another year. Yeah.

 

We wanted to thank Adam and the entire project team for all their hard work. We decided to produce a t-shirt for everyone with Adam's legendary words slapped on the back.

 

We used the project branding in the design.

 

Adam the client loved the t-shirt. He opened the package in front of us. He smiled and said, 'thanks Charlie, I love it.'

He then smiled like a naughty schoolboy, 'but I just don't know how you'll outdo yourself next year?'
