Objective
To establish a coherent and recognizable brand for Residencial Madalena that seamlessly integrates across all platforms. The branding should invite tourists seeking a relaxed vacation and reflect the hotel's long-standing reputation and comforting ambiance.

Who they are
Residencial Madalena is a timeless gem nestled in the heart of Altura, Algarve. Established in 1972, it proudly stands as one of the pioneering hotel units in the region. With its proximity to the beach and an environment that feels like home, it offers guests an escape wrapped in familiarity and tranquility.

Mission
To provide guests with a unique blend of leisure and relaxation, capturing the essence of Altura’s serene ambiance. Residencial Madalena aims to be more than just a stay; it's a memorable experience where every moment is bathed in lightness and comfort.

Values
Leisure: Vacations are moments of reprieve, and we aim to offer the ideal setting for guests to unwind.
Lightness: In both our service and setting, we ensure that every touchpoint embodies ease and simplicity.
Relaxation: Rooted in our foundation is the mission to provide a sanctuary of calmness and rejuvenation for all who visit.

Target audience
Travelers, both domestic and international, seeking a serene getaway. This audience prioritizes authenticity, valuing places with a storied history and a relaxed atmosphere. 

Background
While its enduring legacy has been well-acknowledged, the hotel primarily operated with an outdated logo. This lack of a comprehensive brand identity led to inconsistencies in its representation across different platforms. The need for a unified and modern branding system became evident to align with the changing times while retaining the charm that makes Madalena unique.
Research and discovery
The journey began with an exploration of the branding landscape, specifically seeking logos and identities that encapsulated the feelings of leisure, lightness, and relaxation.

This comprehensive study was further enhanced by the valuable insights provided by the client. Their clear vision and reference materials were pivotal in shaping the direction of the branding exercise.

The unveiling of the reimagined brand identity for Residencial Madalena was met with considerable enthusiasm and appreciation. The discovery process was intricate, demanding careful navigation through client aspirations, market insights, and creative exploration. Yet, the end result—a versatile, modern logo and brand identity that seamlessly adapts across mediums—made every effort worth it. This journey reinforced the importance of a thorough understanding of client needs, adaptability, and the commitment to carving out a unique brand space in the market.
