The Fox and the Crow
I made this artwork to be part of my ongoing series of prints for my National Parks Co project. (Instagram Link). It was an idea that keep popping into my head, so drew it up to get out of my system.
I wanted the chaos of the crow harassing the fox to be carried out by the artistic composition more than the action of the characters. So to that end, I created a repeating circular whirlwind of clouds and grass patterns. I picked a color theme that would add to the vintage feel of my linocut/engraving linework.
