Above the timberline, a pristine alpine lake mirrors the surrounding peaks as they catch the last clear light of the day. Perched at the edge of a granite ridge, a peregrine falcon warms itself in the remaining sun.
The North Cascades Mountain Range - this place is not like other places. Like a dream, it evokes a sense of transcendence, of deep connection to something greater than ourselves. It's a place and time to come to know oneself and one's place in the universe.
