I'm an Architect and photographer born in Patagonia, Argentina. Since my early years, I perceived a very confusing relationship between the cities of south Argentina and its landscapes. There was noise, and a few miles away there was absolute silence. There were bright colorful lights, and there were millions of stars in the sky. There was loud traffic, and there were deserted routes. The distances were so close, and yet so far.

I became very interested in the study of these connections and in the dialogue between these two worlds that were ignoring each other, so I began to travel to the field to find some answers. During these experiences I collected a new notion of time, space, silence and respect. Above all these, respect.

My photographic work seeks to find the invisible line that Nature has left in the cities: There are some places hidden between corners that are as silent as a field night; there are faces and bodies that still walk calmly through chaotic avenues and there are eyes that preserve kindness and respect.

We might have forgotten how to breathe, how to see, how to wait, but Nature hasn’t.

“I wish to speak a word for Nature, for absolute freedom and wildness, as contrasted with a freedom and culture merely civil—to regard man as an inhabitant, or a part and parcel of Nature, rather than a member of society".
