Farnaz Koodakjahani is a visual artist from Iran. She received her B.A. Degree in Visual Communication at Alzahra University in Tehran. She then moved to the United States to obtain her M.F.A. in Illustration at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).

Since 2012, Farnaz has continued to create published artwork for National Geographic Magazine Farsi. Other achievements include:
• Semifinal status in "Adobe Design Achievements Awards", USA (2014)
• “Graduate Group Studies Award" at SCAD Side Walk Festival, Savannah, GA (2014)
• 3rd prize for her 1st illustrated book "Wish We Were Children for all of Life", Tehran, Iran (2013)
• Honored at the Art Expo Competition, Tehran, Iran (2012)
• 1st prize winner of “The 4th Festival of Children's Illustration and Story Writing”, Tehran, Iran (2011)
• Honored in “The Children's Book Council”, Tehran, Iran (2011)
• Honored in “The 5th Festival of Youth Art”, Tehran, Iran (2010)
