Eisen Bernardo is a Filipino graphic designer based in Hanoi, Vietnam. A development communicator by profession, he works as the Senior Communication Specialist of the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security in Southeast Asia. He also designed publications and produced multimedia materials for some local and international academic and research organizations based in the Philippines and Singapore.
He is the illustrator of Asia Rice Foundation’s children’s book, The Adventure of Gabby Ghas, which is translated to other regional dialects. He also illustrated Tahanan’s Philippine Proverbs book by the award-winning author Neni Sta. Romana-Cruz.
He created the BuliLit Board Books – reimagination of Philippine literary classics for children ages 0 to 4. BuliLIT board books such as Noli Me Tangere, Florante at Laura, and Ang Alamant ng Ibong Adarna combine charming story elements with basic concepts such as numbers, colors, and shapes.

His Album+Art Instagram account (@albumplusart) won the People's Choice award in the 2017 Webby Awards (dubbed as the Oscars of the internet) in the Social Media - Music Category. His Album+Art project competed against the Instagram accounts of Rolling Stone, StreetMusicMap, McCann London, and #beckWOW Instagram campaign. The recognition is given by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.
Album+Art was part of Denim Première Vision's Trend Tasting for Autumn/Winter 2017/2018 held in Barcelona. In 2016, some of his Mag+Art and Album+Art collages became part of the permanent display in Ristorante Aranda in Madrid, Spain.
In 2017, some of his Mag+Art collages were selected to become the menu covers of the newly-opened Qwerty resto-bar in Media One Hotel, Dubai. A one-man exhibit featuring some of his Album+Art collages was held during the opening of Qwerty.

His Hanoi sOOperbikes illustrations – a collection of amazing, bizarre, and funny motorbikes in Hanoi, became viral in Vietnam and featured in Zing, Bao Moi, Kehn 14, VnExpress, Gia Dinh Moi, Funu, Sao Star, Barcode Magazine, Song Moi, and Tiin.vn.
Recently, his #keepittogether artworks – a series of digital artwork using paper clips as a powerful symbol in depicting mental illness became huge online and featured in the Huffington Post, My Moden Met, Bored Panda, The Mighty, National Geographic Serbia, India Times, 9Gag, ScoopWhoop, Ranker, and others websites in more than 20 countries.
