My background:
When I was 10 my brother and I convinced our parents to allow us to homeschool ourselves. With the ability to design our curriculum, we were able to follow our passions and focus on projects. Soon after we started home schooling I was part of the team that created MuggleNet.com. That small idea with humble beginnings would go on to be the world's largest Harry Potter fansite getting 50MM pageviews/mo, a NYT best-selling book, international book tours, #1 podcast on iTunes MuggleCast, red carpet premiers, etc.

Since then I've worked in the start-up space for the better part of 2 decades being in the trenches and strategically advising companies. Some would burn to the ground at our feet and others would take off like a rocketship. Those experiences made me who I am today with having to solve so many different problems inside of your company.
