David was born in Brooklyn New York, on April nineteenth, nineteen hundred and seventy eight. He graduated from Pratt Institute with a BFA in Communications Design. His professional career started shortly after. He has created unique and exciting illustrations for clients such as Brick Weekly, The New York Times Book Review, The New York Press, Parents Magazine, Computer World Magazine, Poz Magazine, Publications International, Chronogram Magazine, The Dallas Morning News, and Quarterly Black Review. In 2002 he was featured in Print Magazine New Visual Artists Review. David often lends his time as a guest lecturer to schools like Pratt Institute and Marywood University. He has also coordinated art work shops for the Big Brothers and Big Sisters program of New York. His work has appeared in the Society of Illustrators, CBGB’s Gallery, The New York City Film Festival, Graffiti Gone Global (Art Basel 2009), MOM AND POPISM (2009), Barney's New York: Eames Inspiration (2010), The Art Of Basketball (Art Basel, Miami, 2010) and Graffiti Gone Global: Fresh Produce (Art Basel, Miami, 2010).
