I am Dali Wu and I am pursuing my PhD in “Study and practice of the Arts” at the University of Quebec in Montreal. I have completed my master degree in fine arts (M.F.A) from Haute école des arts du Rhin, France. My focus has always been on the interdisciplinary aspects of art and their relation to the human condition and reality at large. I also research on the psychologico-cognitive aspects of the Digital Art. I regularly collaborate with artists, musicians and scientists to situate and simulate the real-world complexity from an (phenomenological) artistic angle, and often I do so by combining visual art with tangible models and installations. Apart from the various international awards I have received, I have presented my art work in various exhibitions, art festivals and public spaces. I am also editing a volume entitled “Arm chair and Paint Brush: an Eternal Philosopico-artistic Tango (to appear in) Springer - Landscapes: the Arts, Aesthetics, and Education, 2019, to study the interrelationship between art and science.

我深知个体的每一次表达都是对整体的改写，每一次表达却又是一次意识形态的介入。生在中国，后漂泊于洲际之间，以艺术及创作为志业的我，对各类文化、形式与意识形态的纠葛缠绕与碰撞分外敏感。自艺术成为我的表达途径以来，我不间断地对普遍存在的后人类产前阵痛作出回应：即从生物学意义上的人，到后人类赛博格主体的这个割裂而又演变的过程。我的关注点除了人与环境的互动（karma），更重要的是作为风景的人的内心（识）。

以及，女性的身份。现代社会的女性，除了在从未退场的男性审视中，以行为和语言解放自己的肉身，由此试图成为她们的肉身主宰以外，灵魂何处安放，可以摆脱被物化的固有剧本，得到救赎么？我怎样才能从一堆杂糅偏见与过时的教义里，看见并认出自己，而不对猎物、装饰品、大号生殖器与非人的命运俯首帖耳?
