Axel Rangel García studied at the UNAM ( the National University in Mexico) the career of Design with a master's degree specializing as Illustrator. He has worked since 2004 in various publications. In 2005 he participated in the short film "A Media Luz" (A Little Light), selected in the program for children in the Third Morelia Film Festival. In 2006, this shortfilm was part of the official selection at the Festival Unifest in Madrid and in the Latin American Festival of College Short-films (VIART) in Venezuela. In 2009 he participated in the exhibition "Day of the Dead" which was held at Seattle Center in Washington D.C.In 2010 he won, along with illustrator Esmeralda Rios a Honorific Mention and Selection in the 22 ° poster contest "Invitemos a Leer"(Let's invite to Read) organized by CONACULTA (National Council for Culture and the Arts). And in 2011, won another Honorific Mention in the same competition in its 23 th edition. Read Less
