Each portrait is a landscape, made of history, taste and memory.
A face, with its surface, its story, is a landscape.
The architecture of nature, minimal and perfect, is a landscape; even the everyday nature.
The oxidation of time, light, a line capable of telling something. These are the tools that I have chosen for myself, for my photographic journey.

The main point, photographically speaking, it is not that nothing is what it seems, but that there is a story behind everything.
My focus has been mainly on portraits and pictures of food.
I think in some way the two subjects require the same skills: you have to choose an onion and a model with the same care…
but the model has more needs and sometimes, you might get a last minute no-show from her. The onion will always be there, anytime.
I collect wooden textures, I don’t like forcing people to smile if they don’t feel like doing that, I might be listening to a chef telling me a story linked to one of his dish. Read Less
