I am a commercial, editorial, and travel photographer currently based in Beirut, Lebanon.

Over the course of my career, I worked my way in photography by focusing on the communication of feelings and the embodied stories behind all the five senses that make up a photograph. I treat photography as a multi-fold process as well as an adventure: with the right music, interesting people and a few friends by my side part of the way, it has become a life in its own right.

My journey through life and photography has taken me to various parts of the world and more than 24 countries in Europe, the Middle East and finally Southeast Asia, where I find myself constantly drawn. From the Yemeni Hamadas, to the bustling streets of India, to a remote village in Laos, to China’s Tiger Leaping Gorge, or a sulfur mine inside an Indonesian volcano, and back to Lebanon, my choice of subjects is fairly broad, but always exploring the relationship between man and nature.

In my approach to photography, I try to bring a different and evolving life perception of a moment that should be “seen” and felt rather than just “looked at” in our world so that words cease to matter and become only the frame inside which people and places speak their true life stories or invite the imagination of others.

I work on freelance local and international photography assignments. In December 2011, I was chosen to go on an assignment with National Geographic team on their trip to South Africa as part of a Travel Photography Scholarship program. Read Less
