Stamen’s interests and influence are wide ranging. We work with leading Silicon Valley companies to find the new cutting-edge of interactive design. We work with humanitarian organizations to develop low-tech tools for community mapping. And we work with scientific teams to connect important research to a broader audience. Through this work, we have a very public-centric approach, striving for the most intuitive, compelling solution to any challenge.

And when a technology doesn’t exist, we make it! Stamen’s self-initiated projects, such as Field Papers, Stamen Maps, and Maptime, are open-source resources that increase access to and participation in digital design worldwide.
