Jacques Pense is Creative Director in charge of integrated campaigns at thjnk Hamburg. Prior joining thjnk, he was Creative Director at BBDO Berlin, Executive Creative Director at BBDO Interone and Creative Director at Razorfish.
Jacques believes that technology provides endless ways to express creativity and can help brands create seamless and engaging experiences that deliver value to users regardless of channel or platform: from entertainment to services, from digital to physical.
Previously, Jacques spent four successful years with Jung von Matt, which culminated in JvM being voted the number one “Independent Agency of the Year” at Cannes Lions in 2010, number three in 2011, and number two in 2012. Under Jacques’ creative leadership, his team won 75 Awards in the space of just three years.
Throughout his career, Jacques has worked with high-profile clients such as Mercedes-Benz, Nike, Mars, Nestlé, RTL, Deutsche Postbank and DHL.
Jacques’ work on prestigious accounts over the last 20 years has been honored at Cannes Lions, Clio, One Show, Design & Art Direction, FWA and Art Directors Club – to name just a few.
He has served as a judge at leading creative award shows such as the New York Festivals, German Advertising Film Award or the Art Directors Club Germany.
With his track record of awards, he ranks among the most creative minds in Germany.
Jacques is a member of the German Art Directors Club and British Design & Art Direction.
