Common Diseases : A Need to Educate Engage & Monitor

With nearly half a billion children in this country, a lot more remains to be done to ensure the survival, growth and development of India’s greatest asset: its children. Stubbornly high malnutrition rates, poor sanitation and persistent disparities between states, social groups and the rich and the poor are just some of the obstacles we face in ensuring that every child is reached.

In order to design a system we need to understand, who are the entities that we are dealing with. The essence lies in how we design a communication model among these entities through use of information that would benefit the existing scenario.
People have to be aware about the occurrence of diseases and the government has to make proper steps to educate them. At the same time people as a community should engage to spread the word. All these activities should be monitored and supported by the government to reduce the occurrence of diseases..
The Concept
Taking this dataset the idea is to visualize and spread the word so people are more aware and can take steps as precaution. The challenge in the Indian context  lies in dealing with diverse background of people.
Technology doesn’t work in all aspects but we need to design the communication model in a way that caters to the problems raised. If parenting is done in a proper way right from the beginning most of the problems can be solved. They have to be educated and made aware about things. The intent is to pass information that makes them aware about the what could happen and in a way limit the numbers of mishap.
